Raw Protein Snickers

Whenever I look on instagram I trawl through hundreds of photos of healthy 'cheat foods' which seem impossibly difficult to make with elaborate expensive ingredients which are difficult to get my hands on. So I decided to show you my quick and easy recipe for raw snickers! I made these using chocolate brownie whey protein powder but you do not need to add this, just use oats and ground almonds.



2 cups of oats
1 tbsp of chocolate brownie whey protein powder ( I get mine from MY PROTEIN)
2 tbsp of ground almonds

Blend all together and press down to cover the floor of your container

Goey Centre:

Dates (any kind, no need to get the fancy expensive ones, just soak them for a little longer, I leave mine up to 12 hours, but 1/2 would do the trick)
2 tbsp of Peanut Butter
1 tsp of Coconut Oil
A handful of almonds (I used sliced almonds in this recipe)

Blend. Pour on top of base mixture

Chocolate Topping:

2 squares of 90% lindt chocolate
2 tsp of coconut oil

Heat both of these together to get a runny liquid, then pour over the two layers

Freeze for 1 hour and enjoy!
