NSPA Coconut Ice Cream

Out of any body moisturizer in I have used in 2013, my favorite by far is coconut ice cream by NSPA. It smells like holidays and all things wonderful. It is beautifully rich and keeps my skin soft and smooth. Every time I go into ASDA I flee to the beauty section to browse NSPA's wonderful products.

If you are stuck for a body moisturizer and want it to smell amazing and actually work head on down to the NSPA aisle.

Polka Dots and Leather

Polka dots mean Vintage to me. It reminds me of the 50's and exudes a girlish feminine charm. My wardrobe is filled with polka dots in a variety of colors but my favorite has to be this black skater dress from Matalan with white polka dots. It was in the same for £5. A total bargain.

Note the new shoes!

This gold chunky necklace is also a steal from Matalan.

This lovely leather jacket is from Warehouse and has quilted sleeves!

Vintage Turquoise

I am obsessed with turquoise. There is something about turquoise jewelry which resonates with the sea side for me. My earliest memory of this color was when I was 11 walking through cobbled Cornish streets and looking into diamond filled windows captivated by the sparkly pieces of jewelry which hung from pretty petite red velvet boxes. This is a memory I will never forget.

These are my little piece of Cornwall. The ring is vintage and from my Mothers beautiful collection which I have snaffled. *Our little Secret*. The earrings are from accessorize, a cheaper alternative and still vintage looking.

Crown and Glory Floral Head Bands

Image of: Pink Floral Head Band

Crown and Glory floral hair bands have been a favorite of mine since Summer of 2013. I love the floral femininity which oozes out of the brand. Sophie King, the talented lady who created this marvelous girlish wonder bands was the heroine of my Summer holiday. In fact all I can remember from my outfits of Summer 2013 was this ditzy pastel pink headband. I love all things girlie and pink as you know, but these headbands do not only look beautiful, they are excellently hand crafted, so you get a fantastically strong head band which looks Princess perfect whilst oozing the stability of a school hair band. A bargain at £18

Motivational Monday

                                                                  Board it is pinned on

Waking up this rainy Monday morning armed with a cup of tea and duvet I felt the need to blog. As I lay all snuggled up in my flowery duvet, dreading revision, I realized how imperative it is to believe in myself. This got me thinking and made me realize that  we forget to do this on a regularly basis. Instead of a pat on the back, we are more concerned about finding faults, we lack the confidence in ourselves to stand up and say, I can do anything as I am great.

Do not get me wrong, I do not mean this in a cocky manner, but posses a self belief, something which not many people lack. My confidence was knocked during my time at school, by peers and thinking I was not good enough. However, over my gap year I have regained this self confidence in my self and I ask you to do the same.

Replace I can't with, I can. You can do anything you set your mind to.

I have perfect confidence in you.

Oh winter coats. I have searched high and low for a coat which is not made of cheap and cheerful material with a price tag which doesnt make me cry. I love wearing statement coats to add to my outfits and so wanted to add a new statement piece to my wardrobe. So I thought I would show you this lovely navy and leather collard coat I recently bought from "paraphrase" in TKMAXX. I bought it November and think it was around £46-£49, definitely bellow £50. A bargain for a statement coat which is on trend. I am used to spending well over £100 for a well made warm winter coat!

I paired the coat with my red cashmere sweater, a colorful scarf I also got from TXMXX and  black leggins.

Topped of with my new bargain buy shoes from House of Fraser shoe sale reduced from £49 to £26. I added some cute checked socks with them to give my outfit more of a relaxed look.
Have you bought yourself any bargain buys this January?

January Sale Bargain Buy

January Sales fill me with excitement and dread. Do not get me wrong, I am a girl who loves a good bargain, however, I do not like the constant hustle and bustle of a shoe sale as it brings out the worse of woman kind.

However, I braced the angry women on a mission for bargains and I spotted these wedged boots within the Cavendish House. It really was a spectacular shoe sale! I have been wanting a pair of not so high boots to wear with my regular skinny jeans which do not make me look like a giant. Being a 5'9 girl I am always the tallest out of my group of friends, so wearing heels makes me feel uncomfortable is it extenuates my height! However, do not get me wrong, over the years I have learnt to love my height and have adopted the phrase "long hair don't care" and have since filled my cupboards with ludicrous amounts of shoes.

I love these shoes from Linea, apart from being incredibly comfortable, they were reduced from £49 to £26. An absolute bargain, even the shop assistant congratulated me on my bargain hunting!

What is on your January Sales wish list, have you found any bargains recently?

Outfit Of The Day: Styled Topshop Skirt

One of my new years resolutions was to wear more skirts. Along with wearing brighter lipstick and heels. I have been slacking I am afraid girlies. (slaps on wrist)

I have missed wearing skirts during the winter months, as normally in the mornings I pull on a pair of black skinny jeans, grab a jacket and cup of tea and run out of the door, unless it is a weekend of course. I thought it was time to make more of an effort on my day to day outfits.

So on a mission for skirts I went into Topshop a lovely skirt, so I thought I would share it with you.

It is bright but can be worn with or without tights and teemed with a plain top, I think it is a must have accompaniment to your wardrobe. I can even pair my skirt with my beloved biker jacket.

What do you think? Too bright? Or right up your street?

Glitter and Knitwear Trends

So I spent the weekend looking through my Mums wardrobe for some chunky oversized knitwear, and I came across this cute knit cardigan with pink hearts on! It is vintage, oversized and super cosy!
I teemed this with denim  leggings from H&M and a sparkly top from Blue INC.

For an added touch of glamour I added my chunky gold necklace from MATALAN.

Teem with some Chelsea boots and you are ready to take on the Winter Trends.
